Austin Peay State University held it’s commencement exercises on Friday May 8th. It’s a little dull on campus now with all of the students gone for the break; however, we will start hosting our Summer Welcome events soon! Summer Welcome is an orientation type day for incoming Freshmen to meet with their advisor and register for classes. Any students who will be attending in the Fall should sign up soon for a Summer Welcome day if you haven’t already!
Now is an exciting time for graduating High School Seniors; there are so many things to celebrate! Yes, one chapter of your life is over, but a new one is about to begin! Take time to bask in the moment of receiving your diploma and being surrounded by your family and friends. These are the people that have supported you and helped to make you who you are. They are also the ones who will be there for you and support you whatever your next step may be. I know some of you have decided to make your next step continuing your education at Austin Peay! We are so excited to welcome a new group of freshmen to our University!
